A Way Forward for Republicans

Senator Lindsay Graham's recent decision to withdraw from the Republican Presidential nomination race and, instead, support Jeb Bush suggests a way forward for the Republican party.  If the "establishment" candidates would all get together and join forces around a single candidate, the result would be a candidate who could compete with the likes of Trump and Cruz.  It seems to me that the "establishment" candidates owe it to their party to come together this way.  I am a Democrat, but I would hate to see the Republicans give themselves to the likes of Trump.
